The best christmas ever

We couldnt have had a more perfect christmas this year. We got to come home to Utah for a full 30 days! :) Chloe has gotten so much Grandma and Grandpa time from both sides. It has been so fun to be home with Erica, Jason, Deven, Stella, Anton and of course Grandma and Grandpa Easter and Gardner.
We have been so blessed this Christmas and it has been such a fun time to spend holidays as a family for our first year. Our first year as a full family, not with Chloe in my belly. Cannot believe this little girl is going to be 9 months in just a few days!!! I dont feel like 9 months have gone by for us. Time just flys with babies and it is shocking me. But watching this little girl growing up has been the light and joy of Jordan and i's life so far. She is just an amazing baby and i cannot wait to see her grow and learn.
Just thought i would do a quick update. :)

Beauty queen

This last week we had grandma and grandpa Easter here to visit. They were so fun to have here and we were very sad to see them leave. :(
Grandma Easter brought a groupon for a fun photography session for chloe.. And they turned out amazing!
Here are only some of the fabulous results. :)

Where does time go??

Today chloe is 20 weeks old. I feel like we just got home from the hospital a month ago! But this little girl has been such a delight to raise so far. :)
Nothing much to blog about.. Just wanted to write some current events for those who follow me.
A few weeks ago jordan and I talked about getting a dog. We checked it a little pet adoption event and came home with mocha. A beautiful, fun loving pitt... But the temprement of pits is aggressive. :( she did bite me and she attacked another dog.. So she was quickly returned. Jordan kept looking and fell across this cute pre show Uk boxer. Jackson is beautiful. So we went and picked him up yesterday. He is so sweet! Loves chloe, house trained, no barking, no shedding (yay), and just a good dog.
Jordan is recovering well and he is getting back into shape. He returned to work last week and its been quite an adjustment for him. But he'll get back into the routine.
Just a little update on our family. :)

My tough marine..

Jordan got his hernia surgery today. :( poor guy. The surgery went well and it should be all taken care of now. We got a great babysitter for chloe so I could help jordan 100% today at the hospital. And I'm glad chloe didn't come... Surgery was planned at 8:00am, jordan didn't go into surgery until 11:30. And spent an hour in recovery... Nightmare with a baby!
Jordan will be in bed.. In lots of pain, for the next few days.. So we now have two babies in the house. Just thought I'd update on jordans surgery.

I love smart phones!

I know I know I'm going to sound totally stupid. Woke up this morning saying 'theymust have an app for blogger' if course they do! Since we do butt have internet (yet) I'll just update from here.
Its been a busy month.. I'll start with jordan. Jordan has been feeling hernia pain for the past month or so. :( poor guy.. So we went in to see when he could get surgery.. Well he now has 2 inguinal hernias! He will be going into surgery on august 1. Finally! So keep your prayers goin that day.
Now for chloe.. Oh chloe.. She is growing up too fast!  She is now 16 weeks. She can now roll over onto her tummy, sit up mostly by her self, and she had the cutest laugh I've ever heard! She is just progressing its hard to keep up! She is just such a fun little girl to watch grow.

Now me! We got moved into our new apartment on the 7th of july. Its still not done so I will only show you chloes room. (its adorable!) On saturday we went to ashley home furnishings.. We came out with a $3,000 room for only $989.00! Their sale is amazing. So that is my birthday present from jordan. Love that man.

And thats whats been up with the esters. :)

Like A Champ

We cant get enought of this little girl.

She can lift that little head

Totally caught her mid smile :)

Today was Chloe's 2 month well baby appointment and that means she got her shots :( But my little girl has to be the bravest little girl ever. She cried during the shots, but after the nurse put the bandaids on and i picked her up she cuddles right up to me and stopped crying. She is soo sweet. I couldnt ask for a more sweet baby. Our little girl is now 10 pounds, 8 ounces and she is 22 1/2 inches long. :) So proud of our little girl. She is just growing up so fast.

Jordan and I also found a new apartment were moving into next month. We love this apartment, but the area has just gotten bad, and its a constant fight for parking. This apartment complex is only 10 min away from base, compared to 15-25 min where we are now. It is also more kid friendly, a playground, pool and a walking trail around the entire complex. These apartments are very nice and we are so excited to move. :)

We love this sweet girl

The one time i enjoyed being dressed for the day.

Bath time :)

Oh how i love tummy time

Chloe's two month well baby dr appointment isnt till next week, but i cannot help but put up pictures of this little girl. She is just so dang cute :)

Grandma, grandpa Gardner, and auntie Meg came to see Chloe this last memorial weekend and it was so much fun to have them here. I wish i would have pulled out my camera and been crazy mom and taken pictures. But my crazy brain didnt process that till after they left :( But it was a very fun weekend with the family. Beaches, yummy food, and just spending good time together :)

Just thought i'd put up some cute pics of our little one.

Happy Girl

This little girl kills me with her cuteness :) I swear she gets cuter and cuter every day. I cannot believe she is now 5 weeks old. Before i know it she will be 2 months and i will just die... I am so excited to see how she progresses. This girl is such a sweet girl, this morning she woke up singing. And she was so happy all morning that i had to catch her on camera

I also wanna share how much of a support the WIC program is. We have recieved so much food and supplies that i am so thankful that the WIC program exists.

Well i just thought i'd share a little update of this little one before her 2 month appointment. So excited to see her grow up

The Doctor

Today was Chloe's second doctor appointment, what the naval hospital calls her "2 week well baby" appointment. She is really almost 4 weeks old (On monday). Could my darling child have been more of a nightmare?? Probably, but this little girl put on quite a show today. She arrived fine, happy, actually blabbing in the back seat the whole way. Finally take her out for the doc and bam, Chloe goes into an absolute meltdown. She is just crying about everything. It was almost embarassing if the other babies around werent doing the same thing. But to see my little sweet Chloe doing that made me so sad, i just wanted to pick her up. Cant wait till she gets her shots in a few weeks.. Not. :(
Just thought i'd share my frustration with little Chloe this morning.

Little Chloe updates:

I now weigh 7 pounds 5 ounces (i gained weight finally) and 20 inches long.
I am 3 weeks and 4 days old
Doc said i can soon be rolling over (within a few weeks, scary huh??) because i am progressing a little bit fast.
and i am a healthy girl. :)

As fussy as she gets its hard to look at her and get frusterated... She is just TOO DARN CUTE!!

Tired much?

I thought i had been tired before like in college staying up to either watch movies, study, do nothing.. etc. But now i know what tired is.. Our little Chloe fell asleep at about 9:15 last night, mom and dad stayed up talking and doing laundry finally going to bed at 10. Chloe woke up at about 2:30 am hungry, so i feed the little one. She cried and fussed all night till about 4:30 am this morning. Mom was not a happy camper, but i never once felt selfish. Not i was tired, not i wanted to go to bed. It was why are you crying? What do you need? Why arent you tired??? (Hahaha!) But she did finally settle down and went to bed, of course she was back up at 7 am. But she is a baby, she has needs.
And this after noon she is sleeping lots. She will be having good awake time before she goes to bed so she will sleep like.. well a baby! :) Just thought i'd blog about my first encounter with an all night baby.

Congraduation!!!

Yes people, my amazing husband and marine is finally graduated from his MOS school!! YAY!! And not to mention, he graduated at the top of his class! Very proud wife and baby we have here at home! He is now officially a fleet marine. Fleet marine meaning he now has a normal (in military sense) job, and he can come home every night to his little family. :) But.. He can now be deployed with his unit he is in, if they are needed. :( Makes me very very nervous to know that, but to be quite honest, i am not too worried about it. I think things have worked out the way that they have for a reason and it will continue that way. He did sign up for this after all, and with marrying him I might as well have signed that dotted line too. We took Chloe to his graduation today, first serious outing she has been on, and she did AWESOME! I think she is just a gift. I have been so lucky to get about 6 hours of sleep at night, and i can take naps throughout the day. She is just such a sleepy baby that i can reap the benefits, and she gives mommy some nice benefits. :) Just a quick update, dr. appointment coming up soon.

She is finally here!!!

Miss Chloe Jordan Easter finally arrived to this wonderful world on April 4, 2011 at 8:07 am. And here is her wonderful story of how she came to us. I had picked Jordan up for the weekend, friday we had a relaxing night together and it was so nice to have him home once again. Saturday we decided to spend home, together, relaxing... Until about noon-ish, i had felt my first set of contractions. They were getting so close and so intense Jordan and i decided to go into labor and delivery at the Naval Hospital to see what was going on. Doctor said i had not dialated enough to be in active labor. Jordan and i did stairs, walked around, did anything to try and set off labor.. Not much changed. We went home a little disappointed and now waiting anxiously to see if anything would happen that night. Sunday morning i woke up feeling like i should take a little time to do some stairs. So at about 11 am i did, few times up and down and i was running in the apartment telling Jordan i had peed my pants!!! Off we went to the hospital this time for real! At the hospital they did not need much time to tell me that it was my water that broke and i was being admitted. I believe this all happened on Sunday because it was about that time that my mom had landed in San Diego airport to be here for her birth (About 2 days before she was in New York celebrating Antons birth..Crazy!) After sitting in a hospital bed for over 10 hours with an IV and patosin, i was finally dialated enough to have my epidural. Not too long after recieving my epidural i had a rude awakening, i woke up to a nurse flipping me onto my belly telling me to get on my hands and knees with another nurse putting an oxygen mask on me. I was pretty much FREAKING OUT! I had no idea what was going on, was Chloe okay? Was i okay? I didnt know how to feel, all i could do was cry. They finally laid me on my side again and had me breath easier. Chloe's heart rate had gone down too far, because of the patosin and the epidural had calmed her down too. I knocked out pretty good after that and the next thing i knew i was being woken up to check my cervix about every 4 hours. They eventually turned on the lights and told me it was time to start pushing. My mind was saying 'YAY!!' my body was sayin 'I'm not feeling this too much..' After about 2-3 hours of pushing she was finally here!! I heard her little cry and all i could do was cry, tears of pure joy that she was finally here to stay. Jordan could not have been happier, to see his reaction to her coming out was the happiest i have ever seen him. It was a very sweet moment for the both of us. It was the longest night of my life, but it was also the most life changing, and wonderful nights of my life. We love little Chloe with every piece of our hearts. :)

Change of plans.

Went to get an ultrasound done yesterday. Some exciting news!! Due date got pushed up to April 13! I'm excited, and it makes things a little easier. Knowing she will be coming earlier rather than later is nice to know, since Jordans graduation is on the 15. Doctor said everything looked great! She is about 4.8 pounds, and is very healthy. He got a good picture of her face yesterday (will show once i scan them in). She has just this little chubby face!! I'm so excited to finally meet this little one! Her movement has been the highlights of my day (except when i get soker kicked in the ribcage). Knowing i have a living child in me is just amazing to me, and i have already fallen in love with her. She is going to be so cute and i cant wait till she is finally here!
Jordan is being such a good support to us. Although i cant see him very often, when i do go see him he is such a great dad. :) Cannot wait to see the two interact. Just a quick update.

Proved me wrong!

Lets go back to about 5 days ago, i had to go to the Naval Hospital on Camp Pendleton to start seeing an OB doctor. So i went to go talk to the about what i had to do. VERY stressful atmosphere.. So i go and i'm filling out tons of paperwork, turn it in and the nurse tells me i need to go confirm my pregnancy. Uhmm.. HELLO!! I'm already showing (a lot actually)!! So i go to where i need to, the nurse hands me a cup and tells me i need to do a pregnancy test.. wow. So i did. Lets just say i think that was a waste of time, and of a test. So i get my appointment and classes set up.

I was thinkin yesterday as i went to the Naval hospital (as directed by the nurses), 'I'm excited for my first baby class since i havent been to one. I wonder how many girls will be there..etc' I walk in and get my file all put together since i transfered from a civilian doctor. File is all ready and i'm waiting for the class to start, when you see women in their cami uniform you wouldnt be able to know if they were pregnant or not. So i'm thinkin okay a few women, this should be nice, be able to meet some cool people. As the nurse calls for the class a TON of girls stand up.. hmm.. so i just follow them and get into the room and wait. (I look huge to some of these women, and some i couldnt tell, so i was waiting to see if they'd split us up) So were waiting forever, and finally a nurse comes in and starts the class. All of these girls had just found out they were pregnant! Long story short, i sat through a class that i already knew everything about.

You'd think that being a military run hospital it would be organized, and very military style. NOPE!!
Oh, got pulled out into the hall by a nurse, she told me that my pregnancy test had come back positive. I just laughed and said thank you.

This is how life goes..

I'm thinkin get married, go to Cali, have a baby. Easy right? WRONG! Listed above are some of our favorite people right now.. NOT!! I know all of you that read my blog are going to say "Duah! Welcome to life on your own" Alright, but i didnt know.. This is new for me. Paying bills every month is so not fun. Out here in Cali where everything is super overpriced its hard to really go out.. But every day i thank the man upstair for the United States Marine Corps and my wonderful husband who is working hard for us to live.

Speaking of Jordan i'll kinda let you in on his status right now, promoted to Prive First Class about 3 weeks ago! YAY!! Currently more than half way through his Amphibious Assault Vehicle Technician school. (intense sounding) And gets to see little wifie and unborn Chloe on weekends. He works very hard and is doing so well in school. Very proud of him.

News on moving!! Right now Jordan is telling me that there is about an 85% chance of us living on the East coast, in North Carolina. 10% chance of us living here in San Diego, 5% chance of living in 29 Palms... Here they call it 29 reasons to commit suicide... Not sure i wanna go there. With us living on the East coast there is a less likely chance of Jordan being deployed so fast. Although with turning on the news and seeing all the chaos in the world, i feel he will be called to do whatever he can.

Just a little update :) more after first doctors visit hopefully sometime this week...
Thank you to the...

Gettin used to it all

This is the man i hate bein away from every week for 5 days. Military has put us in a different lifestyle for the past 7 months, and next few months to come. With him being in school i can only see him on weekends, and once in a while during the week at night for a little bit. Its far better than when i had to wait for him to have leave to come see me, so i am not complaining whatsoever. This last weekend i got him all to myself. They usually have to have a 'battle buddy' with them, another marine to be with them everywhere they go. But this weekend was nice to just have by ourselves.
This week focus is on Chloe, i will be visiting the Naval Hospital on camp Pendleton tomorrow. This is where i meet my doctor who will be taking care of us for the next few months, and deliever little Chloe. I am so excited to finally have her, mommy instincts are coming out like crazy, i am going a little baby crazy. I'm tired of carrying her, i want to hold her. We are really hoping that she comes after Jordan graduates school on April 15, she is due the 18.... Cuttin it close!
Jordan should be given a leave to help me out, and by then we will also know where we are being stationed. :) April will be one exciting month, and very stressful. Exciting also because my sister in law will be having a cute little boy!! I am so excited!! Grandma Gardner is going to have 3 grandkids within 1 year.. Lucky woman. :) April is the month to have babies in the Gardner/Easter clan over here. Its going to be amazing!

New year started off right!

First Christmas, and New Years together.. Perfect!

Jordan had to return to Cali on the first, it was a sad time for me. Once i feel like i finally have him back for real, he has to go again. :/ But this time i followed to Cali not too much later. I now live in Carlsbad CA, about 10 min away from where Jordan is at. I live with one of the nicest families you would meet, Judy and Steve Vigil. I have been able to see Jordan a lot more than i thought i would be able to, its really been good for me, i was goin a bit crazy in Utah.

Begining my new life in Cali has been a smooth ride so far, who can complain about warm weather?? Not me thats for sure! Chloe loves it, she has been so much more active here than she was in Utah.. The cold got to her.
Hopefully next week we will be going to find out who our doctor is (Cant choose doctors with tricare :/) and get some appointments to be going. My phone is telling me that i only have 87 more days of being pregnant.. Seems too soon for me.

Chloe Jordan Easter

We have finally decided on a name, Chloe Jordan Easter. :) When i told Jordan i had been thinking of Chloe as a name he said it was perfect. So we decided to keep it. We are so delighted to have her coming to us really soon.
I am currently packing up some of Chloes stuff, and all of my stuff to move to California on Jan 14. :) I am so excited!! This move will be really good for Jordan and i. We have been apart for so long, and its finally time to do anything we can to stay close. Especially with Chloe coming soon, i want Jordan as involved as he can be. He is so excited to have me down there, we can go to Dr. appointments together, we can finally see eachother more often, weekends and such.
Once Jordan graduates his MOS (job) school, we will be looking to move on base and be there right before Chloe is born.
Just a quick update before my next Dr. appointment.
