She is finally here!!!
Miss Chloe Jordan Easter finally arrived to this wonderful world on April 4, 2011 at 8:07 am. And here is her wonderful story of how she came to us. I had picked Jordan up for the weekend, friday we had a relaxing night together and it was so nice to have him home once again. Saturday we decided to spend home, together, relaxing... Until about noon-ish, i had felt my first set of contractions. They were getting so close and so intense Jordan and i decided to go into labor and delivery at the Naval Hospital to see what was going on. Doctor said i had not dialated enough to be in active labor. Jordan and i did stairs, walked around, did anything to try and set off labor.. Not much changed. We went home a little disappointed and now waiting anxiously to see if anything would happen that night. Sunday morning i woke up feeling like i should take a little time to do some stairs. So at about 11 am i did, few times up and down and i was running in the apartment telling Jordan i had peed my pants!!! Off we went to the hospital this time for real! At the hospital they did not need much time to tell me that it was my water that broke and i was being admitted. I believe this all happened on Sunday because it was about that time that my mom had landed in San Diego airport to be here for her birth (About 2 days before she was in New York celebrating Antons birth..Crazy!) After sitting in a hospital bed for over 10 hours with an IV and patosin, i was finally dialated enough to have my epidural. Not too long after recieving my epidural i had a rude awakening, i woke up to a nurse flipping me onto my belly telling me to get on my hands and knees with another nurse putting an oxygen mask on me. I was pretty much FREAKING OUT! I had no idea what was going on, was Chloe okay? Was i okay? I didnt know how to feel, all i could do was cry. They finally laid me on my side again and had me breath easier. Chloe's heart rate had gone down too far, because of the patosin and the epidural had calmed her down too. I knocked out pretty good after that and the next thing i knew i was being woken up to check my cervix about every 4 hours. They eventually turned on the lights and told me it was time to start pushing. My mind was saying 'YAY!!' my body was sayin 'I'm not feeling this too much..' After about 2-3 hours of pushing she was finally here!! I heard her little cry and all i could do was cry, tears of pure joy that she was finally here to stay. Jordan could not have been happier, to see his reaction to her coming out was the happiest i have ever seen him. It was a very sweet moment for the both of us. It was the longest night of my life, but it was also the most life changing, and wonderful nights of my life. We love little Chloe with every piece of our hearts. :)
